Clarity as Objectivized BeliefIntuitively, if something is clear, then it is not vague. As the dictionary (.) succinctly puts it: “vague ≠ clear.” But this is of course quite compatible with the fact that . itself isavague predicate. As Barker and Taranto (2003: 17) point out:
