Galactic Cosmic Ray Hydrogen and Helium,The quartet of isotopes of hydrogen(H) and helium(He) are the four most abundant species in the arriving cosmic radiation. In this paper, a brief summary of the spectra snd propagation of these species is given. The reader is referred to Beatty (1986) for a more detailed discussion.

Gamma-Ray Views on the Galactic Cosmic-Ray Distribution,Recent γ-ray studies of the distribution of cosmic rays throughout the Galaxy are discussed based on the observations obtained with the .-2 .-B satellites. For reasons addressed in this paper the picture arising from recent analyses of both data bases differs from the one generally advocated in the past.
