Searching for Branches, Searching for Roots: Fieldwork in my Grandfather’s Village efforts at conducting dance fieldwork in Ukraine. I focus on three key aspects of that endeavour: receiving government authorization, establishing the logistics of the fieldwork and cooperating with local scholars.
