SoC for Capsule Endoscope, has an integrated ultra-low-power transceiver featured with asymmetrical data rate (3Mbps transmitting and 64kbps receiving). A dedicated ARQ scheme is designed to maintain an adequately low BER for data transmission. A near-lossless image compressor is integrated to improve the system efficiency.

SoC for Capsule Endoscope,A capsule endoscope built using this SoC can transmit 480?×?480 pixel images at a frame rate of up to 3fps. The bi-directional link also renders the capability of re-configuring the capsule working inside the human body.

Low Noise Low Power Amplifiers,en a design example is introduced. It consumes 100uA current while amplifying the signal by 16 times and realizing 20nV/sqrtHz input referred noise. It’s integrated in energy metering chips and millions of this chip have been used in energy smart meters.
