Robot-Assisted Drug Delivery to the Brainn order to overcome this challenge. In this chapter, we consider the history of this technique, barriers to clinical translation and promising avenues for further investigation which have been assisted by robotic technology. Finally, we look to the future and consider in which directions robot-assisted drug delivery to the brain could be applied.

Robotics in Laser Ablation Proceduresmon application is deep-seated lesions not-easily accessible by traditional surgical techniques. With respect to lesion size, tumors less than 3 cm are most effectively treated. In summary, this chapter focuses on the neuro-oncological and epilepsy applications of robotic-assisted LITT and summarizes the up-to-date knowledge of this treatment.
