Seven Indigenous Spiritual Principles for Guiding All Students toward Survival, Peace, Health, and Hor organized religions, doing this can be a challenging endeavor owing to laws and ethics related to the separation of church and state. However, since Indigenous spirituality is generally not considered a religion, teachers may have a less difficult task of incorporating it into their teaching and curricula.

The Purpose Projectial—implications. This chapter outlines a few of these facets of spiritual life and focuses in particular on purpose and its relationship to well-being and flourishing. An educational intervention referred to as the “Purpose Project” is outlined as one way of helping students grow spiritually and in other ways.
