Haematological Findings in Marburg Virus Disease: Evidence for Involvement of the Immunological SysHaematological changes in viral disease are well known. Thus the “Marburg-virus” transmitted by monkeys and recently observed in 23 patients of the Marburg area [1, 2] also provoked a typical haematological response. The particular haematological features studied in these patients may justify special consideration.
