Turmoil Behind the Automated Wheeland fluent interactions between the car and driver both during automation and mode transitions. This study looks at different HMIs from a new perspective: Embodied Interaction. The results of this study identify design spaces that are currently underutilized and may contribute to safe and fluent driver support systems in partially automated cars.

Designing Augmented Reality Navigation Visualizations for the Vehicle: A Question of Real World Objeund differences between the designs concerning their subjective acceptance and their navigation performance, but none of those differences could solely be explained by their degree of coverage. Future work is needed to determine effects in terms of coverage.

Trust Is Good, Control Is Better? – The Influence of Head-Up Display on Customer Experience of Automthe HUD on the user experience and to derive optimization potential for current and future automatic driving functions. In comparison to the test rides with LKAS in combination without HUD (with head-down display), it can be determined that there is a positive influence of HUD on the experience with LKAS.

Proposal of Driving Support Agent Which Speak Based on Politeness Theorysing PPS is effective for improving familiarity between agent and participants. Since agent using NPS gave impression that it was carefully supporting, it was suggested that driver feel that they convey accurate information.
