In Vitro and In Vivo Systems to Study Tumor Dormancy and the Transition to Overt Metastases Inducedr dormant behavior (D2.0R, MCF7) or transient dormant metastatic behavior (D2A1) at a metastatic secondary site. Additionally, we present an in vitro and complementary in vivo system to study the switch from dormancy to metastatic growth driven by a fibrotic-like milieu enriched with the deposition of type I collagen.

KISS1 and Kisspeptins Detection in Cell Lines, and social behaviors. These diverse functions point to KISS1 as a potential therapeutic molecule. Here we describe a methodology to detect KISS1 and KP from cell lysate and conditioned media in cell lines. This will serve as a critical tool to study KISS1 processing in KP.

Upon recovery of metastatic cells from ER. breast cancer models, downstream analyses can be conducted to assess the relationship between epithelial plasticity and metastatic dormancy.

Here we describe a detailed protocol for determination of ROS in metastatic cells in the mouse lung tissue by detecting 4-hydroxy-2-noneal (4HNE) adducts formation in fixed tissues.
