Output Regulation,he reference inputs and the class of the disturbances are generated by an autonomous system called the exosystem. The output regulation problem is a classical control problem and also the special case of the cooperative output regulation problem of multi-agent systems to be studied in the subsequent chapters.

The leaderless consensus problem is to design a distributed control law such that the state vector of each subsystem asymptotically synchronizes to the same trajectory regardless of the time profile of the trajectory.
