Computer Simulation Studies in Condensed-Matter Physics: An Introduction matter physics. The invited talks include rather long papers, which generally contain some pedagogical content, and at the end of this volume we present a few shorter, contributed papers which present very recent research results.

Critical Phenomena of Ising-Like Heisenberg Antiferromagnets on the Hexagonal Lattices transitions. Properties of phase transitions and order parameters are investigated by using Monte Carlo simulations. Nature of the ordering process of the .-component is compared with those of the three dimensional XY model and the six-clock model.

Special-Purpose Computers for the Random Ising Modelties, such as a random bond model or a random magnetic field model [1]. Results obtained with the computer for the specific heat and magnetization of the random bond model are presented. We also discuss projects for the new special purpose computers.
