Algebraic and Geometric Analysis of Singularities of Implicit Differential Equations (,),ue problems for a second-order ordinary differential equation how geometric methods allow us to determine the local solution behaviour in the neighbourhood of a singularity including the regularity of the solution. Finally, we show for some simple cases of algebraic singularities how there such an analysis can be performed.

On Periodic Approximate Solutions of the Three-Body Problem Found by Conservative Difference Schemen be solved by purely algebraic methods. Two theorems are proved that reduce this problem to the study of the midpoint scheme properties for a system of coupled oscillators. It is shown that in the case when the bodies form a regular triangle, the approximate solution inherits the periodicity property of the exact Lagrange solution.

Tropical Geometry of Biological Systems (,),algebraic geometry. In tropical geometry, tools like the logarithmic transformation coarse grain complex objects, drastically simplifying their analysis. I discuss here how similar concepts can be applied to dynamical systems used in biological modeling. In particular, tropical geometry is a natural
