Biofortification of Staple Crops: Present Status and Future Strategies,ient concentration and bioavailability. Key challenges (mainstreaming biofortification, building consumer demand and integration of biofortification in policies, programs and investments) have been briefly highlighted. The achievements made in the biofortification of staple crops are very promising and raise hope for nutritional security for all.
