Essential information on regulatory and legislative matters pertaining to sweeteners in the United em in a wide range of foodstuffs. There is, of course, a history of the use of sweeteners in products for diabetics but more recently manufacturers have not been slow to make use of this relatively light regulatory regime, particularly in relation to the production of diet and non-cariogenic foods.
