Addressing cutting-edge research topics and advances in computer aided geometric design and isogeometric analysis, it covers distinguishing curve/surface constructions and spline models, with a special focus on emerging adaptive spline constructions, fundamental spline theory and related algorithms, as well as various aspects of isogeometric methods, e.g. efficient quadrature rules and spectral analysis for isogeometric B-spline discretizations. Marc Hensel,Thomas Pralow,Rolf-Rainer Grigatd polynomial B-splines. We provide an accessible and self-contained exposition of Tchebycheffian B-splines and their main properties. Our construction is based on an integral recurrence relation and allows for the use of different extended Tchebycheff spaces on different intervals. We detail the construction of such rules and give some examples. Finally, we end with some remarks on current work and further developments.
