Very large vortex calculations in two dimensions,We describe an implementation of Anderson‘s Method of Local Corrections running on the Cray X-MP multiprocessor with 4 CPUs. We will show how the code was vectorized and parallelized, including dynamic load balancing. We present computational results from very large runs of up to 25702 vortices.
