LIRE: An Extensible Java CBIR Library,LIRE is a Java library designed to enable quick deployment of VIR solutions. It can be integrated into existing projects or used to build image retrieval applications from scratch. LIRE is based on Lucene, a text search engine which provides capabilities such as: inverted indexing, search, and fast random access to text indexes.
