Periodic Motion Stability of a Dual-Disk Rotor System with Rub-Impact at Fixed Limiter,nic expansion technique. Then, the stability and bifurcations of the system are discussed via the Floquet theory analytically. In the same range of rotating frequency, the stability analysis of the analytical solution shows good agreement with the stability and bifurcation diagrams from direct numerical integration.

Nonlinear Dynamics of an Impact Object on an Oscillating Plate,stem and assumptions used for one-dimensional simulations are first described. We then address the development of an iterative nondimensional solution, and present analyses of the behavior of the system. The simulations are studied in relation to the effects of grazing impacts and the resulting dynamics structure of the system’s response.
