Measurement of Factor Invariance in Large-Scale Tests This chapter provides a general explanation of the conceptual aspects of measurement invariance. Also, it addresses its technical procedures, limitations, and exposes alternatives to the lack of invariance. Finally, it illustrates the application of this technique in the context of a large-scale test.
