BCIs for DOC Patients: Assessment, Communication, and New Directionsach can use real-time measures of brain activity to facilitate assessment of conscious awareness, and potentially provide communication for some users. We present the mindBEAGLE system, a hardware and platform for these goals, results from two patients, and future directions.

Evaluation of the Use of Eye and Head Movements for Mouse-like Functions by Using IOM Devicecollect the data, it was used the Glasses Mouse Interface (IOM - Interface óculos Mouse), device in development at the Federal Institute of Science, Education and Technology (IFSUL) which has been evaluated according to principles of user experience and usability testing.

The Common Characteristics of User-Defined and Mid-Air Gestures for Rotating 3D Digital Contentsystematic behavior coding and analysis. The results indicated that open palm and D Handshape (American Sign Language) were the most intuitive hand poses. In addition, moving hands along the circumference of a horizontal circle was the most intuitive hand motion and trajectory.
