Earth Surface Rendering from Images,It has been mentioned that an image of the surface of the Earth is a two-dimensional representation, i.e., a ., of a three-dimensional object. Each elementary portion (pixel) of the surface in the image is distinguished from the surrounding ones and is located, according to the features of the Earth observing system that produces the image.
