Generalized Membrane Systems with Dynamical Structure, Petri Nets, and Multiset Approximation Spaceystems do not gain much with such a dynamical structure: They can be simulated by ordinary place-transition Petri nets. On the other hand, when region boundaries also play a role in the determination of the communication structure, the computational power of generalized P systems is increased.

Swarm-Based Multiset Rewriting Computing Models,ded to those swarm models. We show that swarm automata with position information are universal if transition rules are applied in parallel. On the other hand, swarm automata without position information are computationally equivalent to finite state automata.
