The expressions are derived for both square-wave and sine-wave signals and are expressed as a function of the diode parameters and the load current.

Analysis of the Inductive Boost Converter for Ultra-Low-Voltage Operation,tion of the extraction and conversion efficiency are presented for the employment of the boost converter in energy-harvesting applications. The converter losses are analyzed to help design the switching frequency and the duty cycle and for the sizing of the boost switches aimed at the optimization of the converter power efficiency.
