Ubiratan D’Ambrosio and the Development of Researchers in (Mathematics) Educationously produce and are produced in the Ethics of Diversity that guides Professor D’Ambrosio’s educational practices, we reflect on his legacy for research and researchers, for knowledge and for those who know and recognize themselves by knowing, for the field of Mathematics Education, as well as for those who form it and form themselves within it.

The Presence of Professor Ubiratan D’Ambrosio in the Development of Graduate Mathematics Education imed that his presence has been remarkable throughout the history of this program, from its inception to the present day. His way of being and his conceptions about education and science have radiated light and encouraged debates and research among the participants of this program.
