Minimal Lattice Model for Topological Insulators,A lattice model can be mapped into a continuous model near the critical point of a topological quantum phase transition. The topology of a lattice model remains unchanged if no energy gap in the band structure closes and reopens.

Majorana Fermions in Topological Insulators,A Majorana fermion is a particle that is its own antiparticle. This type of particle can appear as an end state in a one-dimensional topological superconductor or as a bound state induced by a half quantized vortex in a two-dimensional topological superconductor.

Topological Anderson Insulator,A topological Anderson insulator is a distinct type of topological insulator, which is induced by disorders. Unlike conventional topological insulators, its Fermi energy lies within a so-called mobility gap instead of in a real band gap. The robustness of the edge or surface states is protected by the mobility gap.
