Modelling Methane Emission from Manure,e several microbial groups are involved. Therefore, predicting emissions based on modelling is challenging in practice. This chapter reviews the state of the art on methane emission modelling, summarizes the practical implications for its abatement and suggests research directions to improve our understanding of this process.
