Treatment of Dysarthria with FES,d presented here, the “Dys-SAAR-thrietherapie (DST), allows for an accurate and objective diagnosis of the movement disorder, which can be used to determine the type and severity of dysarthria to train at an optimal level. The effectiveness of this method has been demonstrated in eight patients with chronic dysarthria after stroke.
