Quantification of Discharge Hysteresis Produced in Amazon River Basinrgest area in Mississippi River basin have hysterical pattern for less lag time. The hysterical index for Mississippi River basin was found around 0.23. In some of the basins, no hysteresis were formed, so for them hysterical index is not determined as it will be close to zero.
