Distal Femur Fractures and Periprosthetic Fractures around Distal Femur,ies showed that the mortality of elderly patients after distal femur fractures after at 6?months and 1?year were 17% and 30%, respectively [2, 3]. Similar to geriatric hip fractures, early surgical intervention of osteoporotic distal femur fractures can reduce both mortality and morbidity [4, 5].
