Efficient Pd-Catalyzed Regio- and Stereoselective Carboxylation of Allylic Alcohols with Formic Acily effective for this transformation. The regio- and stereoconvergence of this reaction is ascribed to the thermodynamically favored isomerization of the allylic electrophile in the presence of the palladium catalyst.

Boron-Catalyzed ,-Methylation of Amines with Formic Acid,reagent with high efficiency and selectively. The method has a wide scope of substrates and good functional group compatibility. In addition, imines can be used for hydrogenative methylation conversion in one pot in the catalytic system.
