Case and Scrambling: D-Structure Versus S-Structure,menon found in the Scandinavian languages can be related to a domain analysis of strong Case licensing. Finally, an extension of our theory that includes subject NPs can be used to explain some striking differences between possible subject interpretations in different positions in Dutch and English.
