Global Asymptotic Solution for Axisymmetric Dendrite Growth with Small Undercooling as long as the surface tension parameter is small enough there always exists a smooth needle like solution for a given undercooling temperature. This non-isothermal needle is close to the Ivantsov parabaloid.
