Surgery of Laser Untreated Difficult Diabetic Vitrectomysent at the ophthalmological department with severe visual acuity decrease and advanced diabetic retinopathy. Many VR surgeons perform an immediate vitrectomy. We recommend instead an immediate treatment with anti-VEGF and laserphotocoagulation and a delayed vitrectomy. The technique of laser indirect ophthalmoscopy is described in detail.
