Aspects of Rural Unionism,The legal principles of rural trade unionism are discussed in this chapter. The case of workers’ unions, their social function and, above all else, the collective bargaining system are reviewed in detail. Some contradictions that shape the Brazilian labor relations system are also examined in this chapter.
