Randomness as an invariant for number representations,We show that the usual positional representations of a real number are either random, in the sense of Martin-L?f, for all bases or not so for any base. Thus, randomness is an invariant of number representations. All our proofs are constructive.

Deciding the NTS property of context-free grammars,An algorithm is presented that is a variation of the one of Senizergues in [4]. It decides the NonTerminal Separation property of context-free grammars in polynomial time. A straightforward generalization of the algorithm decides the NTS property of extended context-free grammars (but not in polynomial time).
