Spectral Methods in Representation Theory,This chapter deals with the Coxeter transformation associated with the Cartan matrix of a basic algebra. We relate Coxeter spectral properties to the representation theoretical structure of an algebra, and seek conditions in the automorphism group of an algebra to determine spectral properties of the correspondent Coxeter transformation.
