The Application of Remote Sensing Data in Atmospheric ChemistryThe potential of satellite data in studies of atmospheric chemistry is discussed. The particular advantage of satellite experiments lies in the coverage provided: many species can be measured for long periods over large areas of the globe. Examples of recent studies which rely on these advantages are discussed.
