Intertheory Relations in Growth Economics: Sraffa and Wicksell,y related and, in fact, in good agreement. More precisely, we show that in a well-defined sense Wicksell’s theory can be reduced to Sraffa’s; and we discuss some of the implications of this for the methodology of economics.

May We Identify Reduction and Explanation of Theories?, when T. is valid only for some extreme and unreal case. Then AA must contain limit conditions (idealizing assumptions). Some factors which are present in all real systems vanish in an ideal system which is the strict model of T. (ideal model).
