Biologically-Inspired Massively-Parallel Architectures: A Reconfigurable Neural Modelling Platformrge-scale simulations of systems of spiking neurons in biological real time. The architecture is generic and makes minimal assumptions about the network topologies that will be supported, the goal being to offer a fully reconfigurable platform to test hypotheses of brain function whether they arise from neuroscience, psychology, or elsewhere.

HLS Tools for FPGA: Faster Development with Better Performanceesis Tools. This paper describes how the ImpulseC C-to-hardware compiler tool has been used to develop efficient hardware for a known genomic sequence alignment algorithms and reports HLL designs performance outperforming traditional hand written optimized HDL implementations.

A Reconfigurable Audio Beamforming Multi-Core Processorr approach combines software programming flexibility with improved hardware performance, low power consumption and compact program-executable memory footprint. Experimental results suggest that our FPGA-based processor, running at 100 MHz, can extract in real-time up to 14 acoustic sources 2.6 times
