COUPLED MODEL FOR THE INTERIOR TYPE PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MOTORS AT DIFFERENT SPEEDSA coupled model for accurate representation of the characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motors has been presented in this paper. The starting and synchronization processes of the PMSM, and the influence that on transient behavior of the motor produces the different values of the main motor parameters have been analyzed.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF TWO PM MOTORS WITH BURIED MAGNETSIn this paper, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with buried V-shape magnets is compared to a motor with unusual design with buried U-shape magnets in every second pole. It is shown that the motor design with U-shape magnets has same electrical properties than the design with V-shape magnets.

AN INTUITIVE APPROACH TO THE ANALYSIS OF TORQUE RIPPLE IN INVERTER DRIVEN INDUCTION MOTORSAn intuitive approach of parasitic effects with particular emphasis on torque ripple has been proposed successfully. It is shown that a good approximation can be achieved in predicting the nature and the magnitude of torque ripple by the use of a relatively simple time-domain model.
