Analytical Buckling Analysis of Cylindrical Shells with Elliptic Cross Section Subjected to Externais based on perturbation procedure. The mentioned buckling problem can be solved using FEM. However, FEM solutions may be less manageable, for instance, in terms of optimal design, than the associated approximate analytical models. The approximate formulas obtained are sufficiently accurate and can be used in engineering practice.

,Large Oscillations Around Curled Equilibrium Configurations of Uniformly Loaded Euler–Bernoulli Beanding stiffness is large enough. Moreover, we introduce a Hencky-type discrete model, i.e. a finite dimensional Lagrangian model, for the ‘soft’ . and build a numerical code for determining its motion, in the most general nonlinear regime. This code is able to qualitatively describe observed nonlinear dynamical behavior.
