Utilization of Air-Cooled Ferrochrome Slag in Lime Additive Blended Cement-Based Concrete,istency, setting time and workability decreases while soundness remains consistent. The strength properties like compressive, flexural and split tensile strength of concrete increase on the inclusion of lime and ACFS. The sorptivity of concrete decreases, when ACFS is used as an alternate coarse aggregate.

Optimum Mix Design of Rice Husk Ash-Based Geopolymer Concrete Based on Workability, Setting Time, amost favourable mix design was found to have alkaline activator to RHA (binder) ratio of 0.4, sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide ratio of 2.0, binder content 500?kg/m. and concentration of sodium hydroxide as 14?M. It was established that the properties of RHA based geopolymer concrete were better than standard conventional concrete.

Improvement of Concrete Strength by , Bacterium, results showed that, concrete in which bacteria is present, shows great enhancement in compressive, split tensile and flexural strength in all curing period for all cell concentrations. Bacterial concentration of 10. cells/ml of water showcases the highest strength.
