Community of Practice for Knowledge Sharing in Higher Education: Analysing Community of Practice thr as they learn. However, creating and implementing an effective COP is not trivial. This paper describes our experience of using COP to promote knowledge sharing among undergraduate students working in a multicultural setting, analyses COP using activity theory, and outlines a design proposal for a COP using social objects.

Generating Predictive Movie Recommendations from Trust in Social Networkse than other techniques when the user’s opinions about a film are divergent from the average. We discuss this technique both as an application of social network analysis, as well as how it suggests other analyses that can be performed to help improve collaborative filtering algorithms of all types.
