A Data Classification Model: For Effective Classification of Intrusion in an Intrusion Detection Syin this paper is based on the updated ID3 method. It uses a modified gain to select the attribute. This modified gain gives more weightage to most important attribute. The result analysis has shown that the accuracy of proposed model is better.
