Optical Computation of the Sector and Radon Transform Using Pinhole Array,An optical setup for the computation of the sector transform is presented in this paper. The device is based on pinhole imaging and processing with the computer generated mask. Computation of the transform does not require image rotation, and therefore processing is done fully in parallel. Extensions of the transform are also discussed.

Multidimensional Processing: Nonlinear Optics and Computing,s are discussed here. We discuss future developments and architectural consequences for such potentially highly parallel and interconnected processing systems. Particular emphasis is placed on energy and speed considerations, associated with the use of nonlinear optical materials in optical systems and devices.

Gaussian Wavelet Transform: Two Alternative Fast Implementations for Images, Gabor functions, which allows robust and efficient coding. Our particular GWT is based on a human visual model. Its incompleteness causes small amounts of reconstruction errors (due to small indentations in the MTF), which, however, are irrelevant under criteria based on visual perception.
