Holographic Mode Shape Investigation of Aircraft Engine Impellers,used for coating the impeller surface which helped to enhance the fringes in real-time/time-average visualization, and to shorten the exposure times in hologram recording. The impeller excitation was performed by a set of 10 piezoelectric transducers. In cases of higher amplitude vibrations a method of additional static exposure was applied.

Application of Laser-Dual-Focus Velocimetry in a Counterflow,.0 and a total pressure ratio of P./P. = 2.0. The paper briefly describes the flow measurement technique used and brings out the flow field details made possible through these measurements. A comparison of the measured quantities with theoretical results is presented which shows good agreement.
