,Berechnung Oberer Schranken für die Norm der Ritz-Projektion auf Finite Elemente,Numerical bounds are obtained for the norm in W. and L. of the projection associating with the solution of an elliptic differential equation its finite element approximation. Several numerical examples for W. are given. It seems that this norm is independent of the shape of the domain but increases slightly if the mesh is no longer quasi-uniform.

,Ein Iterationsverfahren zur L?sung eines Parabolischen Freien Randwertproblems, control problem we apply the gradient method. Furthermore we consider the discrete control problem and in the case of an implicit free boundary problem we show convergence of the solution of the discrete problem to the solution of the continuous problem. Some numerical examples illustrate the results.
