Interpolation,e has been made of the ability to take a derivative of such a function at any desired point within the allowed range of values of the independent variable. This has been used in such functions as newton() and nsolv() for obtaining the zeros or roots of functions.

Introduction to Nonlinear Engineering Problems and Models, objective of this work is to provide tools and techniques in order for the practicing engineer to understand and model engineering problems. In general such problems are nonlinear in nature; hence the title Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Engineering Models.
