Self-Induced Islands in Lattice Mismatched Systems,tched substrates and metal islands on insulators. General theory is applied for growth modeling of different nanostructures and formulating the kinetically controlled knobs to tune the resulting morphology. Theoretical predictions are compared with many experimental data.
