Chaos,ies. Our first example was the response of the anharmonic oscillator described by (3.15). This led us to understand, on the basis of this simple model, the qualitative aspects of the frequency variation of the nonlinear susceptibilities, and also the influence of the anharmonic terms on the frequency spectrum of the motion .(.) of the oscillator.
